Jon Nicholas joined the Barbershop Harmony Society in 1977 at the age of 16. Singing with the Louisville Thoroughbreds Chorus, he acquired two international gold medals (1978 & 1981).

Jon first became a member of the Cardinal District Cardinal District Quartet Champions in 1984, singing baritone with the Class Of 84 Quartet. He became a two-time member in 2000, singing baritone with Sensations Quartet.

Jon has sung in two international-level quartets: Sensations Quartet (2001 - Nashville, 20th place) & New Sensations Quartet (2003 - Montreal, 24th place).

Jon became the front line musical director of Kentuckians Chorus in January, 2002. The Kentuckians won their AA Plateau championship in 2003, and won the AAA plateau championship in 2004, 2008, and 2010.

Jon began arranging barbershop in 2002. His arrangements have been sung by many choruses including those in the U.S., Canada, Great Britain, and on the international stage (2005 - Louisville Thoroughbreds Chorus ). His web site is at www.NicholasArrangements.com
